Hi I'm off on a work trip and don't want to spend any more money than necessary.

I was planning to buy an abaya from Carrefour/Geant etc. Will I be judged for having a cheap abaya or will they just be regular ones?

If not, any ideas for cheap abaya shops?

Will you be judged? Of course, by the ladies, and some of the guys who know what a cheap one from C4 looks like. Do you care though?

I wear my cheap abaya's with pride (and the fabric is thinner = cooler). If you want to strut the malls and impress people you will need something with bling.

I found a nice one in Lulu for 80AED. Nice quality and no fear of static.

They had a much nicer range of quality, styles and sizes than Carrefour.

As it is for work, get a plain cheap abaya and accessorise with a nice scarf (coloured is fine) and a good handbag.

All abaya's seem to create static, so wear linen or cotton trousers. Synthetics will reveal your sexy legs through the clingy abaya woohoo.
