Born in Zurich, Switzerland to refugee parents from Prague/ex-Czechoslovakia.
Worked in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, UK and have also travelled extensively. Ended up in Bournemouth/UK for 10 years before moving to Dubai last year. I love all countries for its ups and downs but when it comes to raising children, I by far prefer Dubai. I hope, I will be able to show them the world, the same as my parents did for me and show them that Dubai is unique and cannot be compared to everyday stresses in other countries to avoid any cultural shocks, should they choose to live elsewhere one day. I could just imagine their face having to put petrol themselves or pack their own groceries. What we don't take for granted, could pose a major problem to them. |
