UAE Visa requirements
My family and I (wife and daughter are Nigerian PP holders) are in the process of leaving Libya back to the UK for a month or so, before heading out to Abu Dhabi (hopefully) on a new assisgnment.
My wife and daughter have visitor visa entry clearances for the UK, no resident status.
Q. Are they able to apply for UAE visas while we are in UK as visitors, or must they go to back Nigeria to apply as home country nationals?
cheers

Re: UAE Visa requirements
If they are coming in as part of you mobilising to the UAE for work, it will be a Residency Visa - let your company sort it out.
If they are coming (initially) as 'tourists' then, as 'other nationalities', they will need a sponsor.

Re: UAE Visa requirements
If the company that you are working for over here are providing you with a residence visa (which of course they should if they are employing you) you will be able to get them a residence visa in your name. however you will have to have your visa completed first (this could take up to 2 weeks) then for a fee of 3500AED you can put them on your visa and it won't matter where they are traveling from.
