Need some places to play tennis tomorrow, any ideas anyone? Anywhere near JLT?

Safa park has tennis courts, but you need to book them and it's AED 70 for one hour, AED 100 for 1 1/2 hours. I can't think of any free tennis courts around Dubai, it's certainly not like back home where there are loads of free tennis courts in all the parks.
Another option for you is to go to the Springs, give a fake address at one of the gatehouses (Villa 23, Street 4 will be fine). Drive until you find one of the green spaces that contains tennis courts. No one will ask you questions.
