Hiya all

I have recently secured a one bedroom brand new furnished aprt in JLT, however the aprt has way too many frigging furnishings (ie too many side tables, a big arse telly etc).

Does anyone know if there are storage facilities within Dubai...like we have back in London ie Safe Stores etc.

Any infor would be much appreciated. Cheers - Mission

I've rang several storage places and they are all so frigging expensive!

As you are finding out there are many things are so 'frigging expensive' compared to UK.
Things to look out for with storage in Dubai are temperature/humidity control and dust control. My company stored some excess office furniture in an Al Quoz 'go down', when we went to pick it up 2 years later everything was covered in a layer of at least 1 inch of dust/sand and many of the drawers and doors wouldnt open by hand, the 'wood' had twisted and bent out of shape.

contact the Landlord and tell them you want them removed, they belong to him/her not you, so they can store them somewhere safe
