what about trying Apollo Furniture, they british run and might be able to source them for you. They are next to where the Oasis Centre used to be. Marlin are still in Karama.

Habitat might have them...there's on in Jumeirah Plaza and a warehouse in Al Quoz. Have you tried The One? mind you, i don't remember ever seeing single beds there...

that's the problem...single beds are rare...I have been round the usual shops for double beds but now they want single...so I will have to do the rounds again...therefore I was hoping someone could point me in the right direct without having to go through all the hassle...
Once R is in summercamp next week, I'll head out your side of town and start searching...
