Shipping old laptop - cost please.
I checked that it is about 150 GB pounds to ship my 5 year old laptop (and small items) from UK to KSA in about 5 days using Fedex.
Any alternative suggestions to ship within a week or should I just get a new/second hand laptop in KSA?

Is it worth trusting someone locally if I bought one second hand for, say 600SR?
I'm no expert but if it works for 5 minutes it should continue working??
Maybe someone out there in Khobar has one, cheap?

VOOVit.com is the cheap and simple way to ship your freight parcels or excess baggage to Saudi Arabia. you should try this

Live a little. A new one can be bought for 1200AED which will be 10x better than your old beast. Not like you can spend the money on anything else in Saudi.

Get a new one. They are not expensive in KSA and you have a huge choice. If you are working at PMU they may give you one. At KFUPM, all teaching staff get a new laptop.
Do not waste time effort and money to ship an old one from UK.
