it's definately all about the Arabic, totally convinced.

Unless your 'Arabic' and Islamic Studies are 'outstanding' you will never get outstanding overall.

Unfortunately good quality, hardworking and innovative teachers of Arabic/Islamic studies are like Hen's teeth.

For this reason, parents should not judge a schools overall rating as the 'be all and end all'. Look at the report itself at the other elements of the school.

If everything else is rated as outstanding, apart from Arabic/Islamic studies that should be good enough (unless these 2 subjects are important to you of course).

The inspections have become much more stringent, and accurate in their representation of fact than in the first year they happened.

I'm earnestly studying that article for the "They're All Crap When All Is Said And Done" rating, but it must have been accidentally deleted........ I would rather be struck by lightning than send a child to a school here.

My kids love their school here: class sizes small, very caring environment. I really rate it. It might not have all the fancy pants facilities of some schools here but it has the right attitude in my opinion and the teaching seems great.

At least you don't find the students snorting coke in the shitters here like they did at my school in the UK... I'd say that's an improvement.
