Quite right. And equally as useless as HSBC here.

Opened with HSBC AD in Sept and no complaints so far. Received all cards within a week and online banking/global transfers working a treat. Still early days but.... touch wood.... off to a good start.

we have been with them 8 years and so far so good, the odd glitch but they have always managed to sort it out. I will praise them now but if they turn down our loan application on Tuesday I will not be happy

Hope it continues.... My comment was from a corporate perspective--I really do object when banks end up dictating how we run our business.

Rather odd seeing this as part of my talk tomorrow evening will be able how International banks in the UAE/GCC are franchises...
