I am currently scouring through Dubizzle to get an idea of prices etc for a villa. Wanted to get an idea from those on the ground as to the pro's/con's of the following area's. From what I have seen there are some obvious ones, but not being able to drive around them yet means Im guessing.

KCA/B/C - Seems decent size villa's on the inside, but exterior seems tiny.

MBZ - As above

Karamah - As above.

I may have been spoiled during my time in DXB, but has a fairly decent sized garden.

Am I correct with the above?

Give us an idea of your budget, and then we might be able to give some answers. With enough money you'll get a garden almost anywhere - but what do you want to pay?

All the areas you mention have big houses and some have big gardens. Others have smaller ones!

Probably looking at the 200 - 225K mark...

For that price in Karamah you're not going to get a massive garden. Probably much more likely out in the sticks (KCA / MBZ).

250k could get you an old villa with enough of a garden for a bbq and space for tables and chairs. Our mate's have one with a wrap around garden just off delma. No room for cricket but definitely enough for kids to run around.

OK, so may have to push a little on the housing. Al Raha/MBZ/KC don't seem too far out, certainly not at the time of day I usually have to leave for work!!

u will get something for that "big" budget.... karama will be much smaller than villas off island.
