Horse.Shit.
I was hiding in a rat infested hiding place round the back of the buildings where the AC units are stashed. After 2 days I have knocked it on the head and I am now smoking in the toilet.

I think I should just be allowed to smoke at my desk.

scamp- ive been in meetings in China where they smoke throughout- i tried it once but just felt wrong-i didn't feel professional at all- you cant have a meeting and smoke in my opinion! and smoking at your desk is how you end up smoking 60 a day!

There was a time when it was like that everywhere - not that long ago. In my first ever full time job, in an insurance company head office, people could smoke at their desks and many did.

Back in 2003 they did that in Saudi, I thought I was in a wet dream on my first day at work.

They have knocked that on the head, although the stairwell is still better than going outside.

My final interview for AGMC was with the General Manager, a big old german fella with an office as big as a villa. After I sat down he sparked up and offered me one, I declined. He smoked 3 fags in that hour........
