Question: Many people left Bahrain since the economic slowdown started?

Are rents starting to slip in Bahrain, as well as property prices?

My company has recently picked up several large projects in Bahrain. From all accounts Bahrain seems to be doing fine. It never had the big run up (or more disastrously, the big credit boom) that Dubai did.

I am a very optimistic fella, I ended up renting the entire floor of a building in Maadi, Cairo for less than $800, I am sure I can swing a deal here.....

Have been offered 800 F/F for a 2 bed in Amwaj, looks pretty nice as well but price seems steep...

Why don't you try Saar?

Nice area (although traffic heading into town is a little heavier at peak times).

Might want to look at Golden Sands Manama..right in the thick of things..as long as you dont mind..uh neighbors from the sub-continent with a few of us westerners thrown in..Think Saar might be a little out of way for single guy with no family..
