Just wondering if anyone has dealings with and/or could recommend an insurance company in Dubai that provides Public Liability Insurance - injury and property damage (AUD$10,000,000 cover needed) and Professional Indemnity Insurance (AUD$2,000,000 cover needed).

Most the work would be carried out in Australia (Victoria) with some work in Papua New Guinea. Duration is 1 year.

We use HSBC Brokers here in UAE (now owned by Marsh) - cover is placed in London market

Hi guys I have the same basic question as MacScott did but because of the use of PM's i can't see what the answers provided were.

Also as a new member here the site Administrator blocks PM's until i have a certain number of posts; i discovered this when i tried to PM MacScott.

i would be grateful for advice, i think i need the same levels of coverage as MacScott as well.

Having been major handling insurance claims here for quite some time and with no particular axe to grind, I can honestly say that Oman Insurance are probably the most professional underwriters around.

that is really helpful; i think the issue is that while i am currently expecting to do the majority of my work in Oman (having arrived in the region and being passed from one company in a group to the other since then) my business is actually based in Dubai Knowledge village so (and there is a question her if i may) i supposed that i should be looking for insurance in Dubai?
