- the point is don't bank on your job being secure...it is not.

- you can be fired with immediate effect- maybe you end up receiving a token amount or serve out a notice period, maybe not.

- read your contract before you sign anything;

- my advice (since you asked)- forget the 3 year contract: all it does is 'enslave' you to them- it's done under the pretense of offering you less for perceived 'job security'.
