I am offered a position in Qatar with Qatar.
Salary is 16500 riyals. On top of that, there is transport allowance 2000 riyals, commuting allowance 1600 riyals.
Accommodation provided by company. The length of contract is 3 years.
Is it a good offer? Should I accept? Contract is for 3 years.

There is no mention of whether it is on a sharing basis. All it says is a fully furnished or semi furnished flat or apartment, with air-con, curtains and kitchen items.

They give commuting allowance due to project located in Ras Laffan. Expats are either housed in Doha or Al-Khor.
As for 3 years contract, I think there are both pros and cons. At a time of global uncertainties, people with contracts are in secure employment. The downside is that people cannot leave if they are not happy.
Are people suggesting the pay is too low?

Ummmm, what is the job??? If this package is for a brickie, then it is outstanding and I would definitely suggest accepting, however if this is for a brain surgeon, then I would go back and ask for some more.

the position is engineer with Qatar Gas.
To shiftdelete, if a company sacks someone on contract, then the company would have to pay compensation, is it not?
