Default Playing Football in Doha

Hello all,

Are there any 5-aside football games (indoor or outdoor) or similar in Doha that people play in?

there is a thriving 11 a side league with lots of clubs looking for players post xmas, i know that Real Sosobad are desperate for players. Have a look at the link below, we have excellent coverage with one game a week recorded with highlights online. Standard is variable from Uk Sunday Pub side to a good regional saturday league and more importantly its played at Aspire which is pretty much the best football facility in the world. Man U are on there way there today for a 4 day training camp between fixtures for the 2 or 3rd time.

Alternatively the Garveys league is starting up again some time soon, look up Garveys on facebook for details on that.

In my brief stay in Doha ten years ago I noticed thatthere were lots of organised football games by adult males downtown ! I was impressed. Not many white faces though (Am I allowed to say that ?)

Careful, you may get accused of being an ignorant, Muslim hating racist.
