I suppose it depends on who they surveyed.
My in-laws were there for 10 years before moving to Dubai and by all accounts they totally loved Oman

The house prices are the main factor ..I'd say! Paying twice as much here as you would have to in the UK.
My hubby is working for a sh!t company who refuse to give him a promotion/annual payrise or two days off a week!
What are the good companies to work for here? With big packages! (i'm expensive)
