Question Oman- Can the sponsor ban the employee from exiting Oman?

Hi

I heard that even though Oman does not have the Exit Visa system
But the employee needs to notify the sponsor when traveling otherwise they wont let him fly ! Even if the employee does not have any problems with the law ! So basically every time an employee wants to exit Oman he or she has to get the go ahead from the sponsor ?
Can the sponsor ban his employee from traveling upon the sponsor's say so ?

Question is do I need a no objection letter from the sponsor every time I exit Oman???

Is your visa a single or multi entry visa?

If single, then you need an NOC to return to Oman.

I have a single visa .
I am not worried about returning , all what I am stressed about is a travel ban
Can the sponsor ban me from traveling without any wrong doing on my part and without any finacial or otherwise obligation?
Today someone told me that if a sponsor wants , he can simply give your name , a copy of your passport to security and tell them that he should be notified in case of an exit !!!
Can they just ban you because the sponsor says so ???!

You can leave. But to re enter Oman within the following two years you need an NOC.
You will only be barred from exiting if there is a legal case against you.
So hold no debts, and don't tell your sponsor when you leave.
