Is the isis threat high in saudi arabia, it's the 1 thing hats niggling on my mind about going there. Mainly in the riyadh area

Measure the distance from Baghdad to Riyadh
Draw a radius of that distance from London
Ask yourself - If ISIS is on the edge of that radius, would I be worried?

Regardless of where in Saudi you may be located, complacency is your personal security's enemy.
As a westerner you must always be vigilant and aware of your personal safety. Take heed in your consulates notices regarding safety.
As a woman, I have never felt uncomfortable in Saudi, but I go to Khobar in the Eastern Province however, I am mature married lady so I am largely ignored, which is fine by me.
