Working overseas, and am opening an offshore account, am I best to open it with my main UK bank, or another major to keep things a bit seperate? Or is that just being paranoid? I understand using the same one will be simpler to set up and be cheaper for transfers, but I have also heard anecdotally that it is better to keep them apart?

The same company makes sense as you can easily transfer funds on-line. Ours make no charge for this valuable service.

Definitely go offshore, I've used a company called Abbey Financial Solutions before and they've handled everything for me; it's a lot more tax efficient.
