In my quest to do, well something at least, I did venture to the Horizon Manor hotel the other night. Oh dear.

I'm trying real hard not to have particular expectations but...

In fairness to them i went after getting trolleyed elsewhere and as i was getting indignant why they wouldn't let me in they pointed out it was approx 3.30 in the morning

Hi I moved to Doha last thursday, I spent 2 nights in a hotel and am now in a villa near the airport! I have no idea where to go or even where anything is! I really need to meet some people and get out and about.
I'm a 35 yr old female teacher that loves socialising and needs to make some friends! Anyone up for helping me?

You are more than welcome to come out with us anytime. Myself and Theseus shall be off to the Crowne Plaza tonight if you need to get out and have a drink.
