Can anyone advise me on the best package for a mobile internet aka USB thingy in UAE?
I need a temp solution (laptop) while on the move, perhaps for a week or so?

So even its pay as you go but still need to ensure you have balance???
Sounds like a rip off to me!!

not sure if you're based in the Middle East / UAE but anything internet based is a rip off and mobile data quadruply so...

You could look into regular mobile data package and tether to your device somehow if you're that way inclined...

There's a monthly fee of 100 AED. You need to make sure you add 100 AED each month, so that the monthly fee that is a fee charged each month, can be paid. Monthly.

Data package and tethering is probably a better option than investing in a USB dongle for a short-term need.
