Mobile Internet
Can anyone advise me on the best package for a mobile internet aka USB thingy in UAE?
I need a temp solution (laptop) while on the move, perhaps for a week or so?
cheers

Re: Mobile Internet
seems the most economical (PAYG) would set you
Internet Key 199
One time activation fees 55
Monthly fee AED 100
and then
Pay as you Go® Data Line: please ensure there is sufficient balance every month for the Monthly Data Bundle to be renewed automatically.
So even its pay as you go but still need to ensure you have balance???
Sounds like a rip off to me!!

not sure if you're based in the Middle East / UAE but anything internet based is a rip off and mobile data quadruply so...
You could look into regular mobile data package and tether to your device somehow if you're that way inclined...

Data package and tethering is probably a better option than investing in a USB dongle for a short-term need.
