but you can gain temporary membership on another members address i.e for when your family/friends come out on holiday The membership is only payable in 6month and 12monthly payments. It maybe different for lakes ....??? I did hear that you can join lakes and pay 12 month membership if a lakes member sponsors you. |

Gareth, Border Reiver, Indie Girl and Diablo?? BC One of the reasons for the large rents could be that the Landlords are concerned there will be another rent freeze announced in December and if they can't put the rent up next year they had better get the money in now. Exactly the opposite effect to what was intended when the freeze was introduced at the start of the year but quite predictable. Whether these rents are viable or not I suppose the market will decide. I would be interested to see if they are still available in a couple of month's time. |

Wow, somebody asking for my opinion! I'm touched but sadly don't know much about the Lakes. If a 3E there is the same as a 3E in the Springs it is a huge difference and with no added value like club membership included I wouldn't have thought anybody would pay the extra. Having said that people in this town can be snobby beyond reason when it comes to addresses.

My friend has a 4 bed on the Deemas, very nice. She said the other day that if someone was going to buy her villla for investment they would have to rent it out at 380k a year to get their money back. We aint laughing now though!!!! |
