As with there is not a 'type' of woman that is a 'pro' there is no 'type' of man that visits a 'pro'

I guess if you are not in the profession then you would not know what kind of guy does this....

80% of my clients are married, there are many reasons for paying escorts a visit, I know many reasons but do not think this is the place to share. The single guys that come and see me give me many reasons but I have to say the No1 reason is that women are too needy, second reason is lack of time as they are usually very busy with work and of course maybe the quality of single women is not all that and they just do not find someone they are attracted to.

Guys from all walks of life do this and how much a woman charges will determine the caliber of client she will see.

This is not to offend anybody but it's the facts!!

There is something I am trying to think of regarding seeing a gigolo, applies to women also but essentially it boils down to would you go out with someone who will sleep with others for money.

No matter how cute/fit/intelligent etc the person is surely this is always the stumbling block, but if it only boils down to wanting a casual shag then I can't see that its that hard to find a reasonable guy.

I will not be doing this for ever and the same thought has crossed my mind, I guess once somebody has gotten to know a person the decision might be easier. There are all types of people and I guess it would take someone who does not judge to be able to handle it, also for me personally in my real life casual sex is a no no so maybe setting the foundations for a relationship with no sex first will reassure that an ex 'pro' is not a sex maniac and will bang an guy she meets.

The dilemma I will have is when I meet someone do I tell him my old job straight away or wait until he gets to know me?

I do not like secrets and would like to think I would tell him straight away but then if he has not gotten to know me he may judge.

If I wait for him to get to know me then tell him, will he think that everything I have told him is a lie!

I guess I will know when the time comes.

I don't think its the sex maniac part of it really, for me it would be all about my own insecurities. A woman with more sexual experience and all that entails, and also the chance of meeting former clients etc..
It would take quite a secure guy to take that on, regardless of the associated moral judgements he may have.

Also I would never tell at the start, its normal human behaviour to slowly reveal ourselves to each other, so while this is a large secret it would really only become properly relevant if something physical was going to develop in the relationship.

As I am anonymous on here I will share this one, Back in the Late 90's and my Mid 20's I lived in Leeds, was earning 80k + a year with a nice pretty girlfriend, house car etc. What my family/GF work colleagues didn't know was that every friday night myself and 3 friends on a par with me would be out in Town stuffing more stuff up our nostrils that a 2 year old and after town we would go to a place called Winstons. Winstons was a bona fide high class whore house which served beer all night, had a sauna, Jacuzzi and some of the fittest women in Leeds, Most of which were students or Career women who wanted extra cash. So despite having pretty much everything and as I was then a cute looking guy we spent every friday and some saturdays in the company of quite a few working girls.

There used to be footballers in there, Rugby stars and people from TV, so I can honestly say there is not a particular guy that is more or less likely to engage the services of a working girl. Look at Hugh Bonneville for starters with a dilly dolly up his ass.

I guess with the sexual experience bit then I don't think it would be too much of a big deal but then I am a woman and so not sure how a guys mind works...ok I do but not in every department! I do not do this on my doorstep for the reason you mentioned although having said that I do not intend to live in the UK forever.

The not telling bit.....I will have a 2 year gap in my work CV, if I do not tell then I would have to lie and say I was doing another job....

hmm I like to think Im pretty open minded, however I'm not sure I could get my head around a guy having slept with working girls, or a guy that had worked as a gigolo. I guess it would just leave me too insecure. I always think best not ask a question you might not like the answer to- sometimes ignorance is bliss!

However if a guy I was dating slept with anyone whilst we were a couple without a question (working girl or not) he would be out on his arse quicker than he could say it was only a handjob. I would possibly break his legs on the way out as well.
