Kilt Hire - Dubai
hi all,
I know there's a few scots on here so this might be the place to ask. Does anyone know where I can hire a kilt in Dubai for a wedding in April. Had a google but the only one that comes up is Murad's in Satwa and they want 325 per day + 3000 deposit. I'll be needing it for 5 days so that's not an option!
Thanks

there is another one in the Dune Building on Al Diyafah, called Pavarotti, the prices will probably be the same.

Are you scottish? Or more to the point, do you know anyone coming over from scotland for the wedding? It will be cheaper and a better choice and quality to hire one from there and get someone to bring it over

Re: Kilt Hire - Dubai
The wedding's in Cyprus, and most of the lads are coming from offshore countries/rigs so are having the same problems at their ends.
I'll either have to stump and forego the wedding pressie, or turn up in bermudas and a loud Hawaiin shirt bearing gifts.
Thanks for the advice folks

Re: Kilt Hire - Dubai
at those prices you'd be better off bying a cheap drinking kilt
£50-$100, i'm sure a mate said he got one for $20 online but cant remember where from, google rugby or drinking kilts.

35 quid ones here

Could also try http://www.kiltmakers.com/
Ask for Ken Houston.
Can be a bit on the pricey side but all really good quality and excellent service. They do carry some stock and can ship internationally.

Wow... lots of suggestions - cheers all!
Think I'll go with the suit option. Seems safest and cheapest
