Info needed
We are struggling to get info here. The company hubby will work for has only been opened 6 months, (in Qatar) has been run by 2 Brits, one who jets between their other offices (Oman and Dubai) and one who is leaving, one third Brit who has just arrived, so as you can imagine...getting info is hard! 
Hubby has a one way ticket, he asked the guy who offered him the job if that was ok...yep no probs he said. The second guy (who is leaving) sia d a work visa must be in place and could we send a copy of his passport details etc...we did last week.
The third guy, who will be the new manager and has just arrived, says he will meet hubby at the airport, but as yet none have given us the address of the company or the address of the apartment
Of course we are freaking out now with all this! Huby has visions of being turned away at AKL airport as he has no visa just a one way ticket to Doha. I am trying to find out info on how long I can stay each visit as well. Does anyone have any answers for us?

i thought some nationalities can just attain on arrival visa ... if i am not mistaken i think 14 days renewable.
we flew to Doha with one way ticket, but with copy of visa from the company who will employ hubby.

Hi,
Yeh we have just had e-mail this morning to say there are sorting Hubby's work visa out and will send him a copy as soon as it has been obtained. They said they are going to apply for family residence visa for me so I can come and go as I please, but can stay for 3 weeks (Ithought it was 14 days too)?? and extend as needed??
We have British passports btw.

You shouldnt have a prob wt british passports as can apply for visa on arrival
