anyone knows where I could get something close to an italian icecream in Dubai (not HagenDas or industrial stuff) ?

Icecream really done with milk and fruits

I found by chance a shop in ReefMall. Not bad but far a high standard

Theres a great ice cream cafe in Al Whada Mall, think its on the ground floor, cant rember name but very good not your usual mass market product. Enjoy!!

I like Marble Slab ............ (cant remember rest of name) lots of outlets around malls my fav is non fat vanilla yog with fresh blackberries

Ooops forgot to say they do normal creamy ice cream too

i'm not a big iceacream fan, but hubbie is, and rates marble slab...but there's one in festival city, canadian something, that he reckons is even better...

How about the one in Lamcy, not a fan of ice=cream either, but not the regular franchise you see - cold stone something?

There's the Moulin d'Or (a Lebanese bakery)... I go to the one in Sharjah, but they have a branch or two somewhere in Dubai, though I don't know where.

That is proper gelato and made with actual fruit, not E-numbers

The best we came across is in the Sahara Centre (Sharjah, just off Sheik Zayed, on the right just after you cross the "border"). It's on the ground floor just across from The One. It's the Italian sort where it's all layered out... yummy!!

The best ice cream in Dubai can be found in the cafe (downstairs) at Grand Hyatt.
