No. I currently have two different UK passports. They are both different to my previous ones. It may depend on whether you renew the old one, or apply for a new one.

Pack several plain white tee shirts, plain white boxers and some clean flip flops. have lots of small notes on you and tell the guards you smoke so you can get out several times a day for some Fresh Air. The food is shit but you can get bread and cheese peices along with chrisps and mars bars. books are available and so are newspapers which they deliver everyday.
You should be OK but then again, if your name is not that common you could be flagged.
Enjoy

Hi, I was living in Dubai in 1998 and left some debt behind, I have not been back since, but now my company is sending me there for a seminar...I can't say NO!
I now have a new passport, and it's been some years, (since I was young and stupid) - can anyone please tell me if they will arrest me at immigration on entry?
I am super stressed about it.
Thanks for any advice.
Best

I think you are wrong to promote risk taking to this extent nd immature to suggest it to others when no consequence will be to your personal detriment!

Easy to say. What was his name, when was it what was his pasport number. You are being far too gratuitous and emboldening yourself with your 'concierge' status. A passport has a name and a date of birth it is incredibly easy to match those fiels if you are looking for people.

On passport numbers.............
If you get a replacement for a lost one, it should have the same number (so authorities get alerted if your old one gets used again), but a new one (old one expired, no blank pages left, etc) it will have a new number.
At least, that was the rule a couple of years ago...........
