Help with limewire
I am reveling in the delights of having wireles internet having lived in the wilds of Australia for the past 9mts and my friends very kindly told me to go for it and download as much as I wanted while they were away but Im not sure what I am doing wrong but for example when I typed in fitness aerobics today I got so many different results and althought they could possibly be construed as exercise it certainly wasnt the type you would be doing in public if you get my meaning. Also I did manage to download a tae bo session so now I have it in limewire but how do I burn it onto a dvd. Also once I do master it the only thing my friend said before he left was not to save anything on his computer and use up lots of space so how do I ensure this...by deleting everything once I have burned it???

Re: Help with limewire
All the stuff you download from limewire is stored in a specific directory - this is usually c:\limewire\downloads but may be different depending on how your pal set things up. Just use windows explorer to burn onto cd and then delete from the hard drive when you're done. Limewire searches do usually come up with junk or porn for the first 10 or so hits - just be patient and use the "search more" option to find what you are looking for. If it's video that you're after, you may want to try bittorrent instead, you may need to use a proxy application to elude the etisalat site blocking annoyance.

Re: Help with limewire
If you use the 'Limewire Pro' version, searches & downloads are quicker... its one you have to subscribe for/buy on-line though.
If you have 'regular' limewire, search for "limewire pro" and you can download it for free. So I've heard anyway.....
For burning to DVD (to watch on a DVD player) you will most likely need an application like Nero or Roxio (or similar). Depending on whether your DVD player is DIVX compatible (or if you just watch on your PC/Laptop) you can burn to CD/DVD using Windows explorer as mentioned aboveand watch from the disc as normal.

Re: Help with limewire
stuff downloaded, if your dvd player can read mpeg 4, then it'll play the avi files you burn to cd or dvd....if not, you'll need to convert it.
