You'll probably find that Opodo would still sell you the ticket if it was a 1-minute connection. AFAIK, no travel agency (or indeed airline) is under any obligation to ensure that you make any given connection because there are so many associated factors out of their control. Obviously, they will (or at least should) help you out should you miss one due to delays or whatever.

spend approx £30 a week at Asda's or tesco's - just the usual bread, milk, cheese and toiletries stuff however we have a seperate budget for stuff we buy at the butchers and veg shops. Also, we dont buy much frozen meals, my wife loves cooking which works out far cheaper and we dont eat out much

You seriously spend more than Dh4,000 a month on groceries??
