Hairdressers in dubai

Re: Hairdressers in dubai
Best haircut I ever had was at Vidal Sassoon when I left university and had to find a job. I had Jesus hair down to below my shoulders at the time - they did a brilliant cut that was kind of like Rupert Everret's pre-war thing in "Another Country", blended at the sides with a rakish fop on top. No hairdresser has ever been able to replicate it...

renting a chair in a salon can be a good earner, but what about a visa? two kids, no mention of a husband?

So she'd need to make a net profit of about 400K per year. 200 DH a cut, that's 2000 cuts per year to make it work or about 8 cuts a day.....

AnnaC seemed to be saying that the salon owner will sort the sponsorship & visa. School fees are a problem - would I be right in thinking 30K per annum per child???? Rent - 200K odd for a 3 bed appt ??? About 20K per month to live on....

8 cuts a day is easy, how long does it take to do a cut, not the washing or the drying but the cut and i am sure if u are good u can charge 300 or more
The last time i was home i paid 80 euros for a cut.

What you need to do is contact your hairdresser in the UK and ask them for the formula for the colours of the dye they use. This system is almost universal, and she can give you something to take to your new hairdresser. It won't make any sense to you, but it will to them.
My hairdresser wrote it all down for me to give my new hairdresser here, to ensure that my hair will be dyed exactly the same colour.

one of the issues in dubai is that the water is weird and plays havoc with colour so they do really need to know their stuff, what would work in the uk doesn't here...hear loads of horror stories about colourists i have to say...David is a master though!
