hiya, the area you want to look for accomodation is near the Lamcy Plaza area - that is quite close to the Al Wasl Hospital. What type of industry are you going to be JR in???? not trying to snoop but if its an oil company you want to try and get more money!!! We do arrange nights out so don't worry you won't be left high and dry! We should really arrange something before everyone goes home for the summer and then something in July for those idiots who stay (me!). Dubai can be lonely for some - do you do sport???
ok ok all sounds really good... i will defo negotiate a better basic pay - thanks for your advice - just so you know i am not going in the OIL industry - the position is in a construction company and no i am not coming as a junior i have to look after the whole ME ( they already told me that they will be sending me to Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain etc... so i am ready for all this... but as i said i want to maintain my social life

Blue cat - i do most sports ... squash, swim (still learning) table tennis... five aside footy ( does any body know if this exist over in dubai )... so ill be happy to hear whats on the offer...
and please please please arrange summating even in summer holidays cuz ill be stuck (cant go back that soon for my holidays)..
nights out sounds interesting ... most of my interest lies in RnB smooth or Jazz.. it all depend in which company i am with...

Blue Cat - can you tell me if there is any estate agency who deals in Lamcy Plaza area ... someone told me i need to drive around the area and look out for signs TO LET on the building and then make a note of the number ... she told me that this is the best way to hunt for accommodation... (weird)
anyway i am really excited...
