http://www.gulfnews.com/nation/Immig.../10224333.html and this is just confusing to say the least. It says 500 dhs to obtain a visit visa that cannot be renewed, then goes on to say it can be renewed

The government has said that if a person is transferring between private sector companies, approval from the previous sponsor, the new sponsor and the Ministry of Labour is required.

Perhaps your new company can sponsor you initially on a Mission Entry visa (2 x 3 months) (which I think avoids the ban) before getting you on a longer term contract and new work visa. I'm also told it helps if your new company gets on well with The Ministry of Labour.

That is not how I read it. There is a non-renewable 30 day visa OR a non-renewable 90 day visa option. Its the Health Insurance that can be extended, not the visa. Maybe I am wrong...
