Geotechnical Surveys
Dont all die from the shock that I am making a serious post and that I do occasionally do some work.
does anyone know of a company that might be able to do a Geotechnical Survey without having to wait a couple of months? Need to organise one asap!

Costain used to have a company called - believe it or not - Geotechnical Services based in Qoz. I don't know if even Costain is still there but they were 6 years ago.
I assume it is for residential purposes - I ask because a commercial one will cost the earth - I think I could make a nice un out of that but can't be arsed.
