Friendship Al Khobar?
Hi all, I am an American male living in Khobar at the moment, the Meridien actually, and I will probably be living here for the rest of the year. Anyone out here just like me are also looking for some friendship ? ( Working 14 hours a day is just too boring for me.) I have been working here for 2 weeks now and I can say my social life is at a all time low - 100%. If anyone here willing to take on another friend please let me know. andrew.me@gmail

Also plenty of Americans at Saudi Aramco. Check out the Aramco expats forum at:
http://www.aramcoexpats.com/
Someone there may be able to give you a few pointers to social life and nights out.

Thanks Macscot for your advise. But im afraid since I am not employed by Aramco, they might not let me into they places. Looks like all the fun is happening inside their compounds.

Not sure if there is a Middle East branch for an American-expat forum - might be worth googling for one. But I am sure if you are able to contact some Saudi Aramco employees, they will invite you in as a friend (they are allowed visitors). Just make sure you carry your passport at all times - else you won't get in to any Saudi Aramco compounds (if invited) without one.
