You'll need a maid for the dust.

Yes, but the dust is not ordinary dust, and it's there, every damn day. (I didn't have a maid either - am out of it now, but I remember the dust..;-)

To be honest, if you manage to find somewhere to live away from a building site, it may not be as bad, but unless they've finished everything off in the last couple of years, which I doubt, then there'll be dust, and not only after a sandstorm. I hated the way you could feel it under foot on the marble floors, or it got sucked in through the bathroom fan and coated the toilet and bath. Even if you go through the house every day, it's back again the next. Kept me fit though, all that housework, especially my favourite exercise, cleaning dust off the stairs - marble stairs can be dangerously slippy with a coating of dust ;-0

As a maid will only cost you £250/month for 6 days a week and 18 hours a day, I wouldn't worry too much.

You're saying that now, but all those meets for coffee, the mannys and peddys, then the long lunches and weekly waxing, you won't have time to clean - and it'll ruin your nails!

Couldn't stand all that stuff, I got my kicks frightening the locals with my dog and fighting for first off the mark at Decoration roundabout at rush hour. Driving was the best buzz...
