Hi All

It's been approximately two weeks since I underwent my medical test, and there's still no indication of my Emirates ID. Has anyone recently applied for their ID and received it? I've been persistently following up with HR for an update, but the response is always that it's still being processed. I've also been checking the ICP UAE app for a soft copy, but to no avail.

A renewal or new application?

For a new application, you will be called to undergo the biometric scans - this is done by appointment - is this your first Emirates ID? It normally takes about a week after biometric scans to be ready.

For a renewal it's 1-2 weeks from the medical at most usually. The recent Eid holidays may slow things down a little though.
