This is very specific to electrical engineers so please ignore if you fall asleep whilst perusing this...

Do any of you guys have any contacts for RENTAL companies of electrical testing equipment in the ME

Im talking about HIPOT, 3 Phase Sec injection, Ductor etc etc....

Scoured the net, have asked all my contacts to get back to me, and hey, thought id try my luck here..

Are you wanting to carry out the tests yourself? Reason for asking is there are some good electrical contractors for example Bahwan that I used to deal with in Dubai who had there own test equipment, alternatively check with ABB, Schnieder. They may not rent out their equipment but would maybe charge you for testing your equipment.

well i actually have found a company in Sharjah, just going throught the pain of trying to talk to some twit on the phone who apparently knows knothing about electricity

apparently ABB or Metromac, but he says he would be surprised if they will rent, but they will do the testing themselves.

na they deal with rentals of gensets....they would contact someone like ABB or other vendors to carry out such tests..
