Easy to share accomadation?

Easy to share accomadation?
Hi All
Eventually landed in Dubai, only to find that due to recent 'rip off landlord' stories etc that my accomodation allowance nowhere near covers the cost of a nice place to live (or anywhere to live for that matter!)
So anyways, i was thinking of spending more than my budget either renting or even buying say a 2 or 3 bedroom place (in 'Greens', 'Springs' 'International City' or wherever) and hoping to put an advert in local press for ppl to share with me. How likely is that i'd get someone as rent would be way too much on my own. (BTW single, Western(Scottish, not a Brit
), pets, not religious) if that makes any difference.
And yes, i have looked in local press and not a lot of adverts for this kind of thing!

Loads of people do this.... I know a lady who's renting out a room in her 4 bed villa for 4K a month if you are interested for a month or 2 (Just off defense roundabout)
