Dubai Villa Sharing
Now they are saying that more than one family CAN share a villa so long as there are not 20-30 inhabitants. If that is their true policy, why have so many families already been evicted or their DEWA services disconnected? Some of these bureaucrats really need to get themselves properly educated before announcing laws and regulations which can cause families such heartache and then belatedly changing their minds.

Re: Dubai Villa Sharing
When the policy was enacted last fall (trust me, there was no misunderstanding), Dubai's real estate market was red-hot.
But now there's loads of empty villas sitting around, from Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim to Al Quasis and Deira. There's five empty villas across the street from my villa in Um Suqeim, and there's certainly more elsewhere in the area as families move home and brand new villas are released onto the market.
Methinks landlords are getting desperate for tenants...
