The Germaine Greer article has a bit of notoriety here at the moment,but that was a few weeks ago now.
I'm happy doing what I do. Mrs Bear is happy and so are my kids - even the cats are happy sitting in the sun - and sure beats a wet day in Watford!
Please tell me what your Middle East and specifically Dubai/UAE experience is that makes you so excitable.

Know a local who built 6 very large "luxury" 5 bed villas with pool etc and was hoping to rent it out for 600k. He isn't even getting 300k for it. Also, his office building (newly constructed) on SZR is completely empty.
I don't find the prices of anything else (groceries etc) falling despite the strength of the US$ and falling rentals.
Horizon school sent a notice that they're going to raise fees (apparently waiting for approvals

Ask for up front paid house, car, full medical and ticket home if you want similar living standards to back homr.

just wondering why people keep on replying to someone who is obviously only around to aggravate people with the same old views of Dubai based on a flying visit...
If you go to a pub and end up talking to some twat...would you go back again and talk to that person time and time again, everytime you went to that pub...just seems a bit bit weird to me, that's all.
