Question dubai...kids when they can leave home....

my kids are only 7 & 10.....but have always wondered what they would do when they get to 18,20 year olds....they have UK & Canadian passports,NZ indefinite visa's and PR in Aussie........if we come to Dubai we are looking at staying until they finish school.....they then have a wide choice of where they can reside....the concern i have with Dubai,AB etc is where do all the 18,20 year olds go after school....do they go abroad to uni and then work abroad or do they return to Dubai,AB............does anyone have any experience of this as long term expats in Dubai,AB..........many thanks.

Most families I have come across in such circumstances send their kids to the UK, Canada or the USA for higher education. Some in KSA preferred UK military based schooling in Cyprus.

Obviously depends on circumstances but think I'm right in say that if you have a son you cannot sponsor him once he reaches 18. He either has to be in full-time education here or has a visa through a job in his own right. OK with daughters
