the big nowhere

how do the universities in the area stack up compered to quality in europe/us/canada.........do kids go abroad in general to go to uni or stay in dubai when the time comes......also how do costs also compare........many thanks.

As far as I am aware most kids go back to their home countries for uni, although as was discussed recently they need to be in full-time education (certainly in UK) for 3 years otherwse they are classed as overseas students. Haven't heard of anyone going to uni here although you never know what might become available in the next few years. Think I heard that Middlesex University here is accredited to the one in UK and you can do a couple of years here and 1 year in UK but dont know any more than that.
