Hi There
I will be working in Qatar and Dubai and Abu-Dabi
Whats the deal on driving I have seen on various info sites that with a UK licence I can just turn up and drive
Would any one recommend that or is usual ex pat behavior to have a few lessons with a local driving school to familiarize myself with the local roads
I would greatly appreciate any answers
Thanks Sean

You can drive on your biritsh driving licence if you don't have a resedency in that country. But if you do, you would need to convert your british driving licence and its only valid in that middle eastern country
