Dammam
I got a phone call about potential offer in Dammam. My initial impression was that Saudi is strict. Any thoughts from someone who lived in this area? Is it good for families? How about expenses? How close is it to drive to Bahrain?
Thanks

Re: Dammam
I'm a bachelor, so for me its a big no.
As for you, there is a nice compound there to live with the family. As a family life its livable I guess, its limited and its strict with its religious laws, but inside the compound its pretty much open. The only thing you need to worry about is ask for your kids education. Is it worth it?
Life is shit in the kingdom in general, the rules are ****ing stupid, and the work attitude is shite. And most of the rules aren't even Islamic.
Half an hour drive to Bahrain, but you know Bahrain is just a big prostitution island for men coming out from Saudi, so not a good scene for the family.
