I am hoping to fly with Etihed but need to take quantities of codeine with me if this is for my own use with a Dr's letter will I have any problems going through Abu Dhabi as there is a 4 hour stop there

You are allowed Codeine as long as its prescribed and you have proof. Jus make sure its in the prescription marked container/box.

can use the stuff myself as it makes me itch!

thanks for that I had thought it wasn't allowed so am relieved to hear it
