Default buying things in the UK and shipping them to Dubai

Is there a way you can do it without paying the VAT??

I have been told you can do this, anyone?

It depends what you're buying.. over a certain value and you might need to pay import tax here...

Legally you dont have to pay the VAT and can in theory shop tax free. However in practise what you do is pay as per normal, keep your receipts and present them to customs and excise at the airport. they will then issue a VAT refund to you, as long as you can prove your a non resident.

Some website will automatically deduct VAT but most retailers dont know or care how to.
