Bank transfer to UK. Send SAR or Sterling?
Hi everybody,
My company insists on paying my salary by bank to bank transfer. However, they are asking me if i want them to send it out in Riyals and have the conversion done by Barclays UK or convert here and send out pounds sterling. Any suggestions?

Saudi bank is way to go.

Let the Saudi bank convert it and then send it, the rates here are more favorable.
Also note that Barclays will charge you approx 20 GBP transaction fee regardless of if it is SAR or GBP is sent; depending on what Saudi Bank it is.

Today, the Finance Department changed the story. They said they can only transfer Riyals and Dollars.
