Default Applying to UK universities after A-Levels in Dubai

I have recently got a new job and moved to Dubai. My son has done all his schooling in UK and is completing his GCSE.

If he joins me and does his A-Levels in Dubai, will he be considered as local UK student or International student when he applies for Universities back in the UK. Some universities state that the last 3 years of their education prior to Uni must be in UK in order to be considered as local UK student.

Any advice?

most likely international. Some lie and cheat and claim U.K. status by keeping people on council tax bills in the U.K.

keep him in the U.K. he will get a better education anyway.

Oh well, never mind! I was actually speaking against what the posts were removed for, but I guess that wasn't clear

In my experience pretty much everyone gets home status, some unis ask for contracts showing the job is temporary but it's not usually an irresolvable issue.
