My partner is currently working in Abu Dhabi on a 6 month contract and will be returning to England just as our first child is being born in January 2015.
His job is paying great, including free accommodation and meals. And the bosses want him back as soon as he can. He also wants to go back because of these reasons and so he can earn enough money to provide.
We recently discussed the possibility that I could also come over to AD for a while with baby in tow, as one visit every few months is just not enough.
I've worked in childcare all my life and I know I could get nanny work there no problem as I've been offered many positions in the past. However I don't want to work full days, 6 days a week (as most nannying jobs there are) looking after someone else child, while another person looks after mine.
I'm sure I would be able to find part-time work or something in schools. But what I need advice on is everything else?! Visas, what it's like there for women and children, rent, childcare etc etc etc.
Could anybody shed any light on the pros and cons of this please? Any comments are much appreciated.

I think the 1st question is whether you are legally married to your partner. If yes, he can sponsor you...If not...then it is a realm of the unknown...

A job of a nanny is not paid very well, you are better off approaching nurseries like British Orchard nursery, pretty much any nursery where your native English is an advantage.

You probably have to get your certificates accredited if you want to work in schools, well, I accredited mine, not a problem, but may take time.
